1982 New York arms case (FOIPA 1747555-000)
This collection is the 813-page FBI release indexed as RYAN, LIAM J, FOIPA 1747555-000. The paper itself is a New York criminal file, NY 4-102, with Headquarters copy HQ 4-543. Classification 4 means a National Firearms Act companion file. Squad 431 handled it.
It is one case, May–August 1982: a New York investigation that led to arrests and a container search. The Bureau caption grows from unnamed subjects and the Firearms Act into a longer string that also names foreign-counterintelligence language. The 199- intelligence file that sat behind the case is not copied into these nine PDFs.
This is not the Lavey Noraid control file, not Headquarters 61-7606, and not the Vault Harrison PDFs (those are the 1980–81 Brooklyn case). Harrison and this 1982 file sit next to each other in Bureau copy-counts. They are different jackets.

Stamps that are not this file
C-12061 is the Identification Division latent-print case opened on items from the search. Laboratory numbers in the 20603046 / 20603047 series are exam requests, not a second field file. Magistrate numbers on complaints and search warrants are court files. Boston 199-HQ-16267 is a later jacket and is not in this drop.
Heavy redaction and deleted-page sheets sit in the early electronics volume. The transcript under those images will be thin.
Search hits the OCR and opens the 200 dpi page image. The transcript also sits under every image in the viewer.
FBI FOIA release. Not the IU Indianapolis Irish People collection.
