1970–1995 Irish files (FBI Vault)
This collection is the FBI Vault PDFs titled Irish Republican Army Parts 01–04 and George Harrison Parts 01–02. The Vault staff used “IRA” as a folder name. The paper inside is several different field files stapled under that label. It is not Headquarters 61-7606 (the Smith 2015 set on this site).

How to read the stamps
97- is the Registration Act (FARA) tray. 199- / 199F- is the later foreign-counterintelligence / international-terrorism tray. 4- is the National Firearms Act companion (Harrison sits next to Noraid paper; it is not the same jacket as the 1982 Megahey / Ryan release on this site).
Handwritten 97-318 on the early 1973 Philadelphia pages is the Irish Republican Clubs main. That number is not 61-7606.
Deleted-page sheets are heavy in these PDFs. What you can read is the public rim of the file, not the whole file.
Related collections on this site
The Lavey Noraid set is a larger 17-file release of the New York Noraid control file and its field satellites. Some of the same 199F-1564 serials appear in both places. Search both if a name or date matters. Do not treat the Vault “IRA” folder as a complete Noraid file or as a complete IRA history.
