field offices have been conducting Registration Act
investigation in connection with the INAc and have re-
of the local INAc chapters to develop additiona1
information regarding the activities of the INAc and
whether these local officers may. have incurred an
:'obligation to register under the provisions of the
Foreign Agents Registration Act of l938, as amended.
The matter of interviews of selected officers
or the local INAC-chapters was discussed with the
Department. By 1etter dated 9/i3/73, the Department
advised that while a final determination has not been
compliance under the Foreign Agents Registration Act by
the various. chapters--of the InAc, they had no objection
