Basis for Investigation:
Investigation in, this matter was predicated upon information
from a Foreign Intelligence organization which reflected captioned
individual visited Northern Ireland during August, 1983, as part of a
Northern Irish Aid Committee (NORAID) delegation.
The Irish Northern Aid Committee (NAC) and the

raising organization in the United States, and is thought :
to be the major source of provisional Irish Republican Army

veterans of the 1919-1921 period. On January 5, 1982, the
United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed
a previous United States District Court (UsDc) decision
that campelled NORAID/NAC to comply with the provision of
the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), Title 22, United
States Code 6i1-62l, as an agent of the IRA.
