TECHNIC INSTITUTE (RPI), Campus Security
Force, furnished the
following information to Special Agent

Jon December 5, 1985, concerning the
incident at the RPI Field House on the evening of December 4, l985:
advised that he was home during the evening
of December 4, l985, but was kept apprised of the situation ar rho
RPI Field House telephonically throughout the evening.

Police Department threatening an explosion in the Fieid House at
9:00 p.m. on December 4, 1985.
advised that after
consultation with other RPl officials, it was decided to evacuate the
building. The building was, in fact, evacuated and searched by '
officers of the Troy Police Department, RPI Campus'Security, and
for explosives. No device was found in the RPI Field House.
advised that the ·performance of Her Majesty's
Royal
Marines
was cancelled.
