was advised of the nature and purpose
of the interview and advised as follows:
advised that he has been empioyed as a driver
for Explo Inc., Bronx, New York (Ny) approximately 26x years,
however, is currently on strike in sympathy of the Blaster's
Union.
advised the final pick-up of blasting caps

from Schiavone Construction Company took place on May l9,

1982.
Istated that he could not remember any particulars
regarding that specific pick-up, however, advised that the
procedure generally followed when making a pick-up of blasting
caps for destruction at 63xd and 2nd Avenue would be that
he and
would be dispatched by Explo to pick
up caps for destruction.
He and
would arrive and
would receive a box generally taped and sealed from one
of four individuals, two each from the day shift or two
from the night shift.
On_the day shift the box would be provided generally
by
Or JEROME (LaSt 'Name UnknOwn - LNU).
On the
late shift the box would be prpvided bvl

Or an individual oniy known to
felt that if this pick-up was made at 3:00 PM as so
indicated by the pick-up ticket, the individual who provided
him the box for destruction was either

a very accurate accounting of the blasting caps and usually

of the number of caps needed to fulfill
future blasting projects.
advised that the box provided for return
would indicate a specific number contained in the box all
which would be provided and indicated by the returner.

the number of caps indicated on the receipt even thouqh
no counting is ever physically done by
