the below listed Special Agent (SA) and advised the following

On May 18 or 19, 1982
came to
apartment and advised that the meeting in New Orleans,Louisianna
went well.
stated that an agreement had been reached
for them (Provisional Irish Republican Army - PIRA) to purchase
Surface to Air Missiles (SAMS).
stated that
had all the equipment they couid want".
stated that all the arrangements and the
transaction had been finalized with the_exception of arranging
the final delivery of the items.
stated that "the
boys" wanted delivery in New Orleans and
to transport the
. items north themselves, however,
said that delivery

would be in New York (NY).

stated that another meeting. wouldoccur
to be available for purchase.

would be used as the contact point to

deal.
was advised that he would sit with
for a period of
twodaysand
"play cards while the deal
was going on".
For
services in this respect
he would be paid $l,0oo.o0 prior to the transaction and
following the successful conclusion would be paid an additional
$1,000.00.
