PRESS RELEASE
LEE F. LAsTER, Assistant Director in Charge of the
New York Office Of the FBI, and WILBERT NICHOLS, Regional
Director of the New York Customs Service, announced today
that as a result of a joint undercover operation, three
individuals were arrested for violation of various federal
firearms statutes in connection with the supplying of weapons
10:50 PM on June 19, 1980, were GEORGE HARR1SON of 465 East

9th Street, Brooklyn, New York, THOMAS JOSEPH FALVEY of 90-29
187th Place, Hoilis, Queens, 'New York, and PATRICK MULLIN,
575 Ridgewood Avenue, Queens, NY. H
HARRISON and FALVEY were
arrested near the residence of FALVEY while MULLIN was arrested
at his ovn residence at 7':40 AM this morning.
The arrests of HARRISON and FALVEY were made following
their purchase, from an undercover FBI Agent, of a quantity
of automatic weapons. Federal search warrants were executed
at the residences of both men and as a result Agents seized
automatic pistols, rifles, and other weapons.
The arrest of MULLIN occurred after a search of his
residence uncovered a 2o miliimeter cannon and various other
automatic weapons including a flame thrower.
The joint FBr-U.S. Customs investigation has determined
