Summarizing the above as viewed by me, the Government
Agents avoided the light of day and came in the dark like thieves
in the night, putting my home under siege and held two women
of the special agents with the conduct of the Black and Tan
my youth and with their successors in infamy, the S.A.S. British
thugs who maim and murder in the Ireland of today.
It was wi'th pride that I stood trial in that
courtroom because there in spirit stood with,me some of Ireland's
America's and the world's famous rebels. It may seem strange

Be that as it may, there where I stood in their time, place and
generation stood not only Pearse, Connolly, Tone, Emmett,
Davitt, Lalor, Stephens, o'Donovan, Rossa, John Boyle O'Reilly,
Liam Mellows, Charles Kerins, Bobby Sands, but also Eugene V.
Debs, Joe Hill, Nathan Hale, The Moliy Maguires, Tom Mooney,
Lolita Lebron, Leonard Peltier, Gary Tyler, Solomon Mahlango
the list is endless.

well being or the .law.

desire to be free? Pearse, executed in 19l6 said "no" and so say I.
I stood at trial, but did those who have callously pitted
man against man, woman against woman, white against black, Jew
against Arab, Protestant against Catholic? No.
Did those who supplied guns and piastic bullets to maim
and murder chiidren and civilians in British .occupied Ireland. No.
Are those who supplied guns to murder missionary nuns in
El Salvador, to murdex Salvador Allende in Chile, who was like
Bobby Sands, an elected xepresentative of his people and did those
refugees? No.
Are those who have taken the money, hard earned by the
peopie to buy arms: dnd build nuclear weapons in the name of profit,
free enterprise, and power, to be tried?" No.
But I, who's sole crime was to have believed that
my years, I had to stand trial. I have only this to say, people
such as I should .not have to stand trial because we are innocent of
